F.N.S.A - Our Introducton

September 20, 2011—Introductory Statement We present to you an opportunity to blend our vision of a transparent First Nations Soccer Association of British Columbia by way of your monetary support.

We are emphatically encouraged in forming this association due to the previous historic disappointments that has hurt our First Nations people. Our transparent obligation is a commitment that is upheld by each and every board member, each of whom upholds exemplary integrity throughout the province of British Columbia.

As quoted by our elders, “Our children are our wealth and future leaders of our people”, which we intend to embellish to greater heights with your support. The goal of the FNSA board of directors is to implement our constitution and bylaws, register our name by means of proper society incorporation and draw additional commercial supporters.

With our present active players that are divided onto other teams we intend to formulate four teams with FNSA uniforms to make an immediate impact of emulation. We will be starting with our local communities and spreading out in time to capture all the province of British Colombia. A member-wide contest will select a suitable identifying logo to create awareness and ownership throughout the province of British Columbia.

FNSA was created to generate authentic recognition and promotion for university, provincial and national considerations or appointments. Many really good elite level players have always been overlooked for positions on premier and professional team levels.

Former Vancouver Whitecaps scouting coach, Metro Gerela has seen this many times. He has been a motivating force encouraging us to form the FNSA and to do it properly. Metro is a key advisory member of our Board of Directors while he is busy in management and coaching several West Burnaby teams.
